Mika Brzezinski Calls Out Fox News: Are They Going to Ask Trump Real Questions?
Yesterday his former campaign manager Paul Manafort was found guilty. His personal lawyer Michael Cohen pled guilty to violating campaign law at his direction.
Regardless of one’s political beliefs, it was as tough a news day for President Donald Trump as one could imagine. And if we know anything about Mr. Trump, he will take a page from the Roy Cohn playbook and punch back harder, most likely on the very friendly confines of Fox News.
Enter the media-savvy Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski, who preemptively called out the “journalists” at Fox News likely to get airtime with the embattled president.
“The president, I predict, will end up on the cozy, comfy couch, or in the arms of Sean Hannity trying to deflect, trying to use fox as a bullhorn to run over all these headlines,” she soberly said to camera before rhetorically asking “And the question for Fox News executives and for Fox News journalists is ‘are they going to ask the right questions? Are they going to ask the real questions?'”
