The predictably unpredictable Mike Tyson appeared on Fox News Tuesday afternoon to discuss his new Fox Sports documentary series Being: Mike Tyson with anchor Trace Gallagher. The boxer got a bit emotional when Gallagher asked him what it was like to meet Muhammad Ali, letting the word “shit” escape his lips on live TV.
Tyson talked about the time he first met Ali when he was just 11 years old. “Wow… shit… that gave me the first inclination that I wanted to be a fighter,” he said. After quite a long pause, Gallagher picked up the conversation with a follow-up question.
Tyson told Gallagher about the infamous pigeons he keeps as his home, and things somehow got even stranger when he let out a loud hissing noise as the host was thanking him for coming on the show. Gallagher ultimately ended the segment by thanking Tyson for “keeping it clean.” Despite the 30 second delay the show had Tyson on, he still managed to slip one by them.
