Miley Cyrus followed up her late night romp as host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live this weekend with an early morning appearance on the Today Show Monday. And things got awkward fast when Matt Lauer asked the 20-year-old singer about the “sexual side” she’s been showing off lately.
After if her provocative displays, like the now-infamous MTV VMA’s performance are just a “phase,” Cyrus replied, “I heard when you turn 40 things start to go a little less sexual. So probably around 40, around that time, I heard that’s when people don’t have sex anymore.”
“Do you know how old I am?” Lauer asked her, as he shook his head. He was delighted when she guessed “40” even if that is the sexual cut-off in her mind. “I love you again!” he said. “I’m 55.”
“55?” Cyrus responded. “Well, then you’re really, definitely not sexual.”
