A miniseries about former Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes is coming to Showtime.
Back in October, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Blumhouse Television was developing the project, based on reporting about Ailes and Fox done by New York Magazine‘s Gabriel Sherman. Sherman also released a book on Ailes in 2014 titled The Loudest Voice in the Room.
Well, THR reports today that the miniseries — now titled Secure and Hold: The Last Days of Roger Ailes — is headed to Showtime.
The project is being shepherded by Tom McCarthy, who wrote and directed the Oscar-winning film Spotlight.
The announcement about an Ailes TV project comes as Fox contributor Julie Roginsky has become the latest woman to file a suit alleging sexual harassment from Ailes.
