Monday Night Ratings: Shouting At An Empty Chair Leads Lawrence O’Donnell To Rare Victory Over Maddow

MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell enjoyed a rare ratings jump over his lead-in, The Rachel Maddow Show, at 10 pm. Last night’s episode did have something different going on: O’Donnell interrogated an empty chair following a cancellation by George Zimmerman‘s attorney.

And, looking back on the tail end of the year that was, CNN host Piers Morgan enjoyed an 11 percent gain over the 4th quarter of 2011.
