• MSNBC won the A25-54 demographic on New Year’s Day in prime time and in total day, giving viewers a healthy slate of doc block programming. The top hour was at 9pmET, when Lock Up dominated the ratings, topping FNC, CNN and HLN combined in the demo. Fox News won in total viewers in both categories.
• The top show in total viewers was Fox News’ 8pmET special edition of The O’Reilly Factor, which was a “Miller Time” hour with highlights of Dennis Miller’s year on the program.
