MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle Nearly Cries on Air While Talking About Attack on Syrian Hospital
Stephanie Ruhle had an emotional moment in the middle of MSNBC Live on Wednesday while speaking about the ongoing conflict taking place in Syria.
“Gosh, I’m so upset,” Ruhle said as she held back tears. Ruhle warned viewers that the footage out of Syria was tough to watch, and she nearly broke down as she asked NBC’s Richard Engel for his report on the incident.
The Syrian civil war attracted renewed global attention after a suspected chemical attack killed scores of people near the city of Idlib. A hospital was also hit during the attack.
Appearing with Ruhle, Engel used his report to talk about the Syrian army’s history with chemical weapons, and how the hospital was bombed while it was dealing with patients poisoned by a nerve agent.
