HLN’s most recognizable star Nancy Grace will be leaving the network, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Grace reportedly broke the news to her production team last week that she will not be renewing her contract when it expires in October. When reached by THR, HLN confirmed the departure and teased a news series with the same staff that will replace her 8 p.m. ET slot.
Grace won’t say what her next move will be, saying only that it will have a large “digital component” but still involve television. “My plan is to merge those two in an effective way, in my voice, the ‘anti-crime’ voice. Our show has never really been about me. It has been about the stories that we tell and the people we talk about and the mysteries we try to solve and the children we try to bring home,” she says.
