Nicolle Wallace: How Can Women in Trump WH Pretend They Don’t Work for a ‘Thin-Skinned Bully’?

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace ripped President Donald Trump over his “horseface” tweet attacking Stormy Daniels, but she also said it’s very clearly at odds with what Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump are trying to do.

“It renders the First Lady’s Be Best campaign, an anti-bullying effort, pointless and satirical, and Ivanka Trump’s stated mission of being some sort of ambassador for women a pointless joke,” Wallace said. “How can these women and any woman in the White House pretend that they work for anyone other than a very loud-mouthed and very thin-skinned bully?”

She said it seems like insulting and going after women seems to be a “political strategy” for Trump, bringing up examples ranging from “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping” to “Look at that face, would anyone vote for that?”

During the panel discussion, Wallace again brought up the work the First Lady and First Daughter are doing and asked if irony is “dead” in the White House.
