Obama’s First Comments on MH370: Using ‘Every Resource We Have Available’

President Obama made his first public comments on the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 Wednesday night in an interview with Dallas-Fort Worth Fox affiliate KDFW, in one of the multiple local news appearances he made Wednesday on a push to raise the minimum wage.

The president said the U.S. is putting “every resource we have available” into the ongoing search for the plane, and said, “We want to send out our thoughts and prayers to all of the families that have been affected, but particularly our American families, who I can only imagine what they’re going through with all this uncertainty that’s taken place.”

Obama assured that finding the plane is a “top priority” right now and the U.S. government is cooperating with the Malaysian government to find it.
