On Fox News Sunday this morning, Chris Wallace confronted President Obama over his past dismissals that there’s any serious problem with Hillary Clinton‘s emails.
Wallace pointed out the classified and top secret emails on her server and asked, “Can you still say flatly that she did not jeopardize America’s secrets?”
The president explained, “There’s classified and then there’s classified. There’s stuff that is really top secret top secret, and there’s stuff that is being presented… that you might not want getting out over the wire.”
Obama insisted that he continues to believe “she has not jeopardized America’s national security” and pointed out that she’s owned up to the “carelessness” of the private server in the first place.
When pressed by Wallace, the president said he can guarantee that the decision whether or not to indict Clinton is not a political one.
