Olbermann to Tom Brady: ‘Take It from Me,’ Don’t Fight the Suspension

Keith Olbermann knows a thing or two about being suspended from high-profile jobs, so today he offered some advice to Tom Brady to not try and fight his four-game suspension over DeflateGate.

Olbermann said, “Tom, relax, we’ve all been suspended. Take it from me, Tom, please don’t appeal your suspension.”

Instead, the ESPN host recommended, Brady should be firing his agent for making a pretty bold statement about Brady cooperating with the investigation (when that wasn’t exactly the case) and pushing, as Olbermann deemed it, a tin foil hat conspiracy about an NFL-Colts collusion against Brady.

Olbermann mockingly compared Brady to Richard Nixon and said he should fess up to his role, tell Roger Goodell not to punish anyone else for what he did, and “go to ball inflation rehab.”

Last week, Olbermann said that Brady should get a one-year suspension on “stupidity” alone.
