Omarosa Explains Why She Left Hillary Clinton’s Campaign For Trump’s: ‘Used and Abused’

Ex-White House official Omarosa Manigault Newman explained why she pivoted from campaigning for Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump while appearing on a reality TV series — saying she left the Democrat candidate’s organization after being “used and abused.”

Omarosa, who helped campaign for Clinton in the early days of the election, left the Trump White House last month in a controversial exit and has continued her dramatic antics while starring on the CBS show Big Brother: Celebrity Edition.

“Hillary, when we were in the White House, she was an interesting person. She was just a strong woman, she was… she defended her man,” Omarosa said. “She was very engaged and sharp and smart.”

She continued:

“Then, when it was time to roll it over into the Hillary for America campaign, they just completely discarded all of the people who had done work. [It]  soured a lot of people. So it wasn’t hard when he called me and said ‘can you be on board?’ because I had just been used and abused by the Ready for Hillary organization.”

Omarosa then claimed her case was just one of the many examples of the organization using abusing and misusing employees, which is why she “decided to go a different direction.”
