Bill O’Reilly and former Congressman Barney Frank reunited tonight for another spirited on-air debate. In the past, O’Reilly and Frank have come to blows over the financial crisis, ACORN, and politicizing the Boston Marathon bombing. This time, neither O’Reilly nor Frank blew up at each other, and the conversation was mostly civil, but they did get a little testy with each other.
The segment consisted of O’Reilly rattling off a few issues, like race relations and foreign policy, Frank sharing his thoughts on them, and then both men arguing about them. O’Reilly challenged Frank to name President Obama‘s biggest accomplishments, but there were no trademark O’Reilly-Frank fireworks.
They did get testy a bit, like when Frank repeatedly scolded O’Reilly for not letting him speak. Frank said, “No one ever gets to talk on your show.” Minutes later, when O’Reilly asked him a few questions, Frank exasperatedly asked, “Can I answer any of the seven questions you just asked me?”
O’Reilly told him to stop being so sensitive.
