Bill O’Reilly tonight really went off on anyone this week who’s given any sort of defense of the rioting in Baltimore this week, calling them “hateful morons.”
To O’Reilly, there’s no sort of justification or explanation about the feeling or economic situation in the community that can be used to “justify vigilante violence.” He said the “litany of excuse-making is excruciating” and said the reason many people in Baltimore can’t get jobs is because of their appearance and “disrespectful” demeanor.
He went after Alex Wagner for observing that President Obama is “half-black” when she criticized his use of the word “thug” to describe the more violent Baltimore protesters.
O’Reilly also pushed back on the suggestion that cops are being “brutal” all across America. He said, “This is not a country that promotes white supremacy… There’s no systemic effort to keep black people down in America. To perpetuate this kind of vicious propaganda is atrocious.”
