O’Reilly: Clinton’s Wrong, Obama’s More to Blame For Partisanship Than the Media

Bill O’Reilly opened his show Thursday night taking on Bill Clinton‘s assertion on CNN that Fox News and MSNBC are major contributors to the political polarization in America. O’Reilly, never a fan of comparing Fox News and MSNBC, dismissed Clinton’s assertion, declaring that the President Obama‘s policies have more to do with the polarization of the country than cable news does.

O’Reilly cited how much Obama’s policies have changed America in five years, saying the U.S. is “weaker” and the economy is far more “problematic.” He said, “It’s not the media or Fox News or anybody else wh’s creating division, it’s politics.”

He cited Fox News’ encouragement of “robust debate” between its various personalities, particularly on the Obamacare debate, concluding that Fox News is merely “reporting” on how the level of polarization in the United States, “not creating it.”
