Every time there’s a scandal at the White House, President Obama promises answers and accountability, but Bill O’Reilly said on Thursday night there’s never any follow-through. He charged that on everything from the IRS to Fast & Furious, Obama’s talked a good game but no one’s been held accountable, so no one should expect anything different for Obamacare.
O’Reilly asked, “Do you believe the president is fixing problems? Do you believe that people are being held accountable?”
He said there’s still too much the public doesn’t know about the above scandals, including Benghazi, and said it’s of paramount importance to understand how the government “could screw up this badly” on health care. O’Reilly charged that Obama can say whatever he wants and “doesn’t have to act on any of it.”
He warned that this is due in part to American apathy, saying “without public pressure, no one’s going to be held accountable.” And the “generally hapless media” hasn’t been much help either.
