O’Reilly: Obama’s ‘Obsessed’ with Fox News, We Have No ‘Jihad’ Against Him
President Obama took a brief swipe at Fox News yesterday for its coverage of how the economy’s doing, and Bill O’Reilly tonight fired back and said he’s clearly “obsessed” with Fox.
The president said yesterday that he doesn’t watch Fox often, but he watches it enough to understand what they’re saying about him. O’Reilly said to Dana Perino tonight the reaction would be different if George W. Bush ever swiped at a supposed media rival like that.
He did admit that Obama “gets worked over” not just on Fox but on talk radio as well, but he threw some cold water on the president’s chief criticism. O’Reilly said Obama “sincerely” believes Fox News “wants to do him ill.”
He affirmed that Fox News is “the toughest of all the networks” on Obama, but the network has tons of liberal analysts so there’s no “jihad against him here.”
