O’Reilly Talks Bundy, Sharpton, and ‘Zealot’ Colbert with Bolling

Eric Bolling got the chance to interview Bill O’Reilly on his show Cashin’ In Saturday, taking on everything from how much Al Sharpton is exploiting race divisions in the U.S. and how Stephen Colbert is a “left-wing zealot” who refuses to be honest about his politics.

They took on the Cliven Bundy fracas, with O’Reilly calling him an “ill-educated” man whose punishment will only come because he refused to follow the law. Sharpton, on the other hand, O’Reilly considers one of the biggest race-baiters. He said, “He doesn’t want harmony, he doesn’t want a strong America, he wants to divide us.”

Bolling revisited their previous spat on Tesla, in which O’Reilly contended electric cars are an important service to the country, while Bolling said the government shouldn’t be picking winners and losers. And with the recent news that Tesla is opening plants in China, Bolling told O’Reilly he’s even more wary now.

Bolling went down a list of people to get O’Reilly’s quick “pinhead or patriot” assessment. O’Reilly credited Jon Stewart as a patriot, but said Colbert is “just a left-wing zealot” who’s hiding behind a character (based partly on O’Reilly) and “won’t admit who he is.”
