O’Reilly to Fiorina: You Won’t Tweet Means Things at Me, Right?

Bill O’Reilly avoided discussing his network’s latest feud with Donald Trump for much of his Fox News show Wednesday night, instead focusing the first 30 minutes or so on Pope Francis I trip to the White House. But he couldn’t help getting a little dig at Trump in during the final seconds of his interview with GOP candidate Carly Fiorina.

Following Scott Walker’s departing call for his fellow Republicans to stop Trump before he destroys the party, O’Reilly pressed Fiorina to say how she plans to do that. “I intend to beat Donald Trump,” she said succinctly, prompting O’Reilly to reply, “Good answer!” and suggest she launch the “Fiorina Factor” if she doesn’t become president.

“People can say all kinds of things, I’m not going to engage in personal insults,” Fiorina said of any animosity between her and Trump. “I’m going to engage in a fact-based assessment of my own capabilities.”

“So that means you’re not going to tweet after this interview that I’m a pinhead?” O’Reilly asked, alluding to Trump’s recent Twitter tirade against him.

“I don’t ever tweet after interviews,” Fiorina replied. “And, by the way, I would never call you a pinhead.”
