O’Reilly: Trump Would Be Wise to ‘Embrace Only Facts’ in the Future

Tonight, after today’s big Intelligence Committee hearing, Bill O’Reilly critiqued the arguments of both the right and the left. He claimed that President Trump had made a serious mistake in accusing his predecessor of “wiretapping,” while he also called out Democrats for not caring about the recent influx of leaks to the media.

O’Reilly said this claim “harmed the president” because while other Obama-era surveillance has been revealed to the public, it doesn’t support Trump’s specific case.

He suggested, “In the future, the president would be wise to embrace only facts in his pronouncements.”

O’Reilly has given Trump similar advice in the past, saying after the Sweden flap that “facts must dominate the discourse.”
