O’Reilly/Palin Interview Brings Huge Ratings; CNN’s Haiti Coverage Tops MSNBC In Prime

Cable news ratings, January 12, 2010: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• Sarah Palin‘s first appearance on Fox News as an official member of the team brought in enormous ratings for The O’Reilly Factor, the top cable news program Tuesday night. Bill O’Reilly had nearly one million viewers in the A25-54 demographic and four million in total viewers – more than the program brought in when Palin was on the last time, and topping some network programs (on ABC) in total viewers.

• CNN’s steady coverage Tuesday night of the Haiti disaster made it the #2 show in total viewers and the demo, topping MSNBC significantly. FNC was #1 by far. The top non-FNC show in the demo was Anderson Cooper at 10pmET and in total viewers was Larry King at 9pmET.
