Pat Robertson Describes What Constitutes ‘Sensual’ Clothing

On Wednesday’s edition of CBN’s The 700 Club, televangelist Pat Robertson laid bare the type of thing he finds sexy on a woman. It involves lace.

Show host Wendy Griffith kicked off the conversation: “You know, you’re a guy,” she said to Robertson. “Guys don’t want to see it all. They like the mystery. Isn’t that right?”

“Absolutely. From a purely prurient standpoint,” Robertson said, “a lace stalking is more sensual than a bare leg. It’s the illusion that there’s something behind it.”

Robertson went on to describe how young girls used to wear long skirts to school but once there, would roll them up to show more of their legs.

“Once it (modesty) becomes cool, then it’ll catch on,” Robertson said. “And until it’s cool, then the girls will want to be cool, they want to be hip, they want to do what’s in.”
