The panel on Fox News’ Special Report tonight ripped Jeb Bush for his complaining about the campaign this past weekend. In case you missed it, Bush got a little agitated this weekend and said, “I’ve got a lot of really cool things I could do other than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them.”
He complained about the tone of the campaign, and Charles Krauthammer pretty bluntly said, “It was pathetic and petulant.” He told Bret Baier it’s not very presidential to get frustrated like that, and contrasted it with how calm and “self-contained” Ben Carson has been.
Laura Ingraham said that politics has always been a blood sport, and the Bush family should maybe not be throwing stones when they’ve benefitted from attacks on opponents.
Krauthammer agreed and said if Bush doesn’t like the way the campaign’s going, perhaps he should just stop campaigning.
