Patient Showing Signs of Ebola Reportedly Quarantined in D.C. Hospital
Another person is in isolation at an American hospital after showing possible symptoms of the Ebola virus, reports CNN’s Jake Tapper.
“Patient who’d traveled to Nigeria showing possible Ebola symptoms,” Tapper tweeted, adding the person is currently quarantined at a Washington, D.C. hospital (identified as Howard University, by another news source):

Earlier this week, the Centers for Disease Control confirmed the first case of Ebola on U.S. soil, and since then we have learned that an American NBC News cameraman was also diagnosed with the virus.
UPDATE — 2:12 p.m. ET: Hospital spokesperson Kerry-Ann Hamilton gave the following statement to NBC4:
“In an abundance of caution, we have activated the appropriate infection control protocols, including isolating the patient. Our medical team continues to evaluate and monitor progress in close collaboration with the CDC and the Department of Health.”
