Paul Ryan tonight held a primary night victory press conference and was asked about his agenda for the rest of the Congressional t––nah, it was all about Trump!
He did not personally hear what Trump said about “Second Amendment people” stopping Hillary Clinton, telling reporters he’s been busy all day.
“It sounds like,” Ryan said, “just a joke gone bad. I hope he clears it up very quickly. You shouldn’t joke about something like that.”
Ryan went on to insist that despite his disagreements, a Trump presidency will bring “better receptivity of our agenda” than a Hillary Clinton one.
