Piers Morgan: ‘I Remain Very Thankful That I Wasn’t Deported’

On Thanksgiving Day, CNN host Piers Morgan expressed his gratefulness with trademark sarcasm.

Although the British TV personality did not partake in the celebrations, Morgan said: “I remain very thankful that I wasn’t deported.”

He was, of course, mockingly referring to the White House petition created by gun advocates calling for his deportation after the CNN host “engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment.”

That petition gathered more than 100,000 signatures in favor of deporting Morgan, far surpassing the 25,000 mark required for a White House response. Ultimately, the administration responded: “When Discussing the Second Amendment, Keep the First in Mind Too.”
