Pitbull Rips Donald Sterling During iHeartRadio Music Awards Opening
Pitbull opened the first-ever iHeartRadio Music Awards Thursday night with a performance of his song “Wild Wild Love” featuring G.R.L. live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. And since there was no comedian host on hand to make jokes about L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling, the Cuban-American rapper decided to do the honors himself.
“I want to welcome the world to the first iHeartRadio Music Awards!” Pitbull said after his performance ended. “Now everyone that’s here is a who’s who, a what’s what, the anybody’s of all anybody’s, except of course for Donald Sterling.”
“So, with that said, you can take a picture with whoever you want tonight — even Magic Johnson,” he said to loud cheers from the audience.
Later in the evening, Pitbull won the best collaboration award for his number one hit “Timber” with Kesha.
