64% of American Voters Believe Trump Committed Crimes Before He Became President

A Quinnipiac University National Poll was released on Tuesday and the results are not kind to President Donald Trump, finding that 64% of American voters believed that Mr. Trump had committed crimes before he became president. Of the Republicans polled, 48% believe that Trump did NOT do crimes before moving into the White House, compared to 33% that did.

But wait, there’s more.

U.S. voters are evenly split  45 – 43 percent on whether Trump has committed any crimes while in office. By comparison, a similar poll in 1998 found that a majority of U.S. voters found Bill Clinton had committed crimes while in office 58-43.

Those polled also seem to believe that Michael Cohen is more credible between Donald Trump50 – 35 percent. adding “Cohen told the truth, 44 percent of voters say, while 36 percent say he did not tell the truth.”

Morning Joe co-host Willie Geist revealed these rather stunning numbers to viewers Wednesday morning before tossing to frequent guest Rick Klein, who called these results “shocking” and an “extraordinary revelation” that  “almost two-thirds of the country believe that Donald Trump committed crimes before he was president and nearly half believe that he committed crimes as president.”
