R. Kelly Released from Jail, Promises to ‘Straighten All of This Stuff Out’

Embattled singer R. Kelly is out of jail once again and vowing to straighten “all of this stuff out.”

On Saturday, Kelly was released from the Chicago’s Cook County Jail for the second time in the last few weeks.

Shortly after leaving the Chicago jail, Kelly made the following statement: “I promise you, we’re going to straighten all this stuff out…That’s all I can say right now. I promise you.”

He also said he loves his fans.

Kelly’s most recent incarceration was due to owing his ex-wife child support in the amount of $161,000. It is unclear who paid the money owed.

His lawyer, Steve Greenberg, also declined to provide details about the money paid to secure Kelly’s release, citing a “gag order.”

Kelly has been accused of sexually abusing underage girls.

His lawyer told reporters, “It’s open season on R. Kelly.”
