‘Race for the White House’ Becomes CNN’s Highest-Rated Original Series

Cnn-Center-27684The six-part documentary series Race for the White House, which debuted on CNN Sunday night, scored the highest ratings for an original series in the network’s history.

The debut episode brought in 2.564 million total viewers, 885,000 among adults in the coveted 25-54 demographic, setting a record for the most watched original series telecast ever on CNN.

Race for the White House had a strong lead-in, making its debut just after the Democratic debate Sunday night, which netted 5.5 million total viewers and 1.788 million in demo.
