Report: Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein Will Remain at DOJ Longer Than Expected

Despite previous indications that Rod Rosenstein would leave the Justice Department sometime this month, it would seem that he’ll be Deputy Attorney General for a little while longer.

MSNBC’s Pete Williams delivered a report on Tuesday confirming that Rosenstein will stay at the DOJ for a bit longer than he initially said. Williams said it’s quite likely that Rosenstein has talked this over already with Attorney General Bill Barr, and there’s no telling when exactly he’ll leave now, even though confirmation hearings for his successor will start in early April.
