Rick Wilson Rips Donald Trump and His ‘Suck-A**es’: Unlike Them, I Consider Russian Hacking ‘Tantamount to Act of War’
Republican political strategist and pithy Trump critic Rick Wilson took dead aim at President Donald Trump and his supporters on Thursday night for their lack of outrage over the latest news that Russians successfully penetrated into the election databases of two Florida counties in 2016. “Unlike Donald Trump and his ‘suck-asses,’ I consider Russian hacking of our elections systems even in the smallest county to be tantamount to an act of war,” he wrote on Twitter.
And by the way, unlike Donald Trump and his suck-asses, I consider Russian hacking of our elections systems even in the smallest county to be tantamount to an act of war, but that’s just me because I love America. https://t.co/6UEHUOkqqk

Wilson’s disgust stemmed from the Trump administration’s apparent disinterest in yet another revelation of Russian interference into the 2016 presidential election. On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for the first time publicly revealed that two counties in his state had been hacked three years ago and that the F.B.I. had forced him to sign a nondisclosure agreement to get access to classified information about the incident.
On MSNBC’s 11th Hour with Brian Williams, Wilson reiterated the same criticism of the White House, albeit while using less colorful language.
“I view this as something slightly short of an act of war against our country,” Wilson told MSNBC host Brian Williams. “I’m enraged by it and I think the fact, I think Governor Desantis expressed a correct amount of discomfort that the Russians sure as hell know, you know, who they hacked and we don’t. So I think this is a major problem. I’ve talked to a lot of voters here in Florida in the last couple of hours here tonight who are deeply concerned about this — Republicans and Democrats — who are deeply concerned that this is something we’re going to see, maybe it’s more than two and maybe it’s deeper than we thought. It’s a real troubling revelation.
