Ron Reagan: Trump Insecure and ‘Perhaps Delusional’ Enough to Have Jared Kushner Handle So Much

Ron Reagan Jr. tonight said that President Trump sounds insecure and “perhaps delusional” enough to be putting his son-in-law Jared Kushner in charge of so much.

He spoke with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews tonight following the news of Kushner being in Iraq with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Reagan had a few questions about why Kushner is doing so much, and reached one conclusion:

“Who would put him in this position? What president would assign… his 36-year-old son in law, who has no relevant experience, to do all these things? And I would say an insecure and perhaps delusional president.”

American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp argued that Kushner has the president’s ear and there’s nothing wrong with Trump wanting to have him close for advice and guidance.

His invocation of Bobby Kennedy as an example of precedent, however, set Matthews off…
