MSNBC may be getting a new weekend host, and he’s only 25. The Hollywood Reporter is citing unnamed sources who claim Ronan Farrow is in talks with MSNBC to host a new show during the cable news network’s weekend lineup. The son of actress, and outspoken progressive activist, Mia Farrow founded the State Department’s Office of Global Youth Issues and recently acted as an adviser to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the Arab Spring uprising.
The Hollywood Reporter‘s Marisa Guthrie notes that while Farrow has made appearances on CNN and MSNBC, “his television experience is limited.” With his academic background as a Rhodes scholar, graduate of Yale Law School and member of the New York Bar, could fit well into a weekend landscape on MSNBC that also includes Steve Kornacki and Melissa Harris-Perry.
Interestingly, the news comes right on the heels of a Vanity Fair interview with Mia Farrow, in which the actress suggested her son may have been fathered by Frank Sinatra and not, as has been widely understood, Woody Allen. You can let the photos below speak for themselves…
