It probably won’t surprise you to learn that Marco Rubio very much regrets getting so nasty and personal with Donald Trump on the campaign trail recently.
In a preview of Rubio’s MSNBC town hall tonight, the GOP candidate was asked about getting so personal. And regrets, Rubio has a few:
“In terms of things that have to do with personal stuff, yeah, at the end of the day it’s not something I’m entirely proud of. My kids were embarrassed by it, and if I had to do it again I wouldn’t.”
That being said, he is sticking by his accusations that Trump is a con man and a faux conservative who doesn’t have the best interests of the country at heart. And, honestly, Rubio still thinks Trump kinda deserved it.
