Rubio on Trump Leading the Polls: ’I Didn’t Say He Wasn’t a Good Con Man’

rubioMarco Rubio appeared on Fox News tonight to reiterate his charge that Donald Trump is a con man that cannot be allowed to take over the Republican party.

Bret Baier brought up Rubio’s new line that the Republican party would split if Trump is the nominee. He asked, “Is that a prediction or a threat?”

Rubio said it’s a prediction of what will definitely happen if a non-conservative with more liberal positions on health care and Planned Parenthood is the Republican nominee.

Baier brought up how poorly Rubio is doing in almost every Super Tuesday state compared to Trump in the polls.

Rubio responded, “I didn’t say he wasn’t a good con man. Obviously he’s been able to convince people of his arguments that he’s making. Our job is to reverse that.”
