On Monday, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin returned to Fox News Channel as a contributor. After weighing in on the politics surrounding the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups, the hosts of Fox & Friends asked her to refresh the audience on what the former Republican vice presidential candidate had been up to. Palin revealed that she has been busy putting together a book which will take aim at people who try to “take the Christ at Christmas.”
“What have you been up to?” asked guest host Megyn Kelly. “How are you?”
“I am doing great,” Palin replied. “I’ve been very busy, of course, with my kids – two beautiful grandkids – writing a book about Christmas and pushing back on the politically correct who would try to take Christ out of Christmas.”
She described the new book as a “legalese how-to push back” for those who would “protect the heart of Christmas.”
She said that the book will also be “festive” and “jolly” book about tradition which will also include recipes.
