Sarah Sanders Definitively Claims ‘We Don’t Have Any Personnel Changes at This Time’

Amid tons of speculation about more White House departures, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters rather definitively that there are no planned personnel changes at this time.

A report last night said President Trump has decided to remove H.R. McMaster as National Security Advisor, but Huckabee Sanders said today McMaster isn’t going anywhere.

She repeatedly knocked the media coverage of these stories as things “you guys would like us to be focused on” while saying McMaster is focused on “big issues.”

When asked if certain individuals in the administration have been given reassurances that their jobs are safe, Huckabee Sanders said, “We don’t have any personnel changes at this time.”

NBC’s Peter Alexander pushed back a bit on the claim this is the media stoking chaos claims by noting what Trump himself has publicly said that’s created an “aura” of chaos and turmoil.

Huckabee Sanders responded by saying it’s unfair to take “two sentences out of the thousands of remarks” the President makes and frame it as if it’s his “entire focus.”
