Sarah Sanders: ‘Most Everyone in America’ Thinks There’s Nothing to Russia Probe

Sarah Huckabee Sanders reiterated at today’s briefing that the White House would be cooperative with the Mueller investigation, but also said “most everyone in America” thinks “there’s nothing to this.”

Fox News Radio’s Jon Decker asked Sanders why, if President Trump thinks it’s a witch hunt, he doesn’t just fire Mueller.

She said this in response:

“We want to see this come to a complete and full conclusion. I think we all know what everybody in this room would do if the president did that, and I don’t think that’s helpful to the process. The President wants to see this end, and he wants to see them finally come to the same conclusion that I think most everyone in America has––that there is nothing to this. They’ve spent the better part––most of you have spent the better part of a year looking, digging, obsessing over trying to find something and have yet to find anything.”

She cited someone at CNN who acknowledged that there are people who just “don’t care” about Russia because it doesn’t affect their daily lives.

“We’re ready to move on,” Huckabee Sanders added. “Clearly the American people are.”
