Scarborough: Stop ‘Bitching’ About Obama’s Inaction and Applaud Iraqi Airstrikes

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough has been plenty critical of what he sees as President Barack Obama’s inaction on the world stage, but he also said Monday morning that Obama should be applauded when he does take action against groups like ISIS.

“I’m so sick and tired of the same people bitching and moaning about this president not doing things, when the president does things, instead of supporting him,” Scarborough said. “When we’re at a critical moment in this nation’s history, what do they do? They’ve gotta go on the Sunday shows and bitch and moan about a president doing what we all know, what realists and neocon alike understand: we have to confront ISIS.”

Scarborough asked if former Romney foreign policy advisor Dan Senor would “salute the president” for his actions in Iraq. Senor said yes, before going on to critique Obama’s overall Iraq strategy.
