Sean Hannity had some harsh words for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) on his program tonight, lambasting the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, who is undergoing an investigation into potential collusion between the campaign of President Donald Trump and Russia.
It all started with Hannity and his panel discussing Ken Starr’s recent comments, in which he suggested that Special Counsel Robert Mueller may have gone “beyond the mandate” of his investigation.
That’s when Hannity decided to go off on Schiff, noting that he recently said we may “never know” the extent of Russian collusion in the 2016 election.
“What is out there? Nobody can answer! Where is the collusion? What is it?” He asked. “Somebody needs to ask him as he goes on 272 shows, auditioning to be the next Rachel Maddow or Lawrence O’Donnell.”
The Fox News host went on to ask for Mueller’s removal from the case.
“Don’t we have enough evidence now that warrants the appointment of another special counsel to investigate the investigators, the FBI and the DOJ?” He asked.
In one of the great coincidences of life, Schiff just happened to be appearing with Maddow nearly to the moment that Hannity made his damning remarks.
