Sen. Chuck Schumer on Pres. Donald Trump's "fake tears" remark: "I'm not going to dignify that kind of silliness" https://t.co/DlDU4sehMX

Senator Chuck Schumer got a little emotional yesterday when he spoke out against President Trump‘s executive order temporarily barring U.S. entry to refugees and people from 7 predominantly-Muslim nations. In response, Trump took a shot at him, said they were “fake tears,” and asked who his acting coach was.
On CNN tonight, Erin Burnett asked Schumer for his response.
Schumer said, “I’m not gonna dignify that kind of silliness. Let him roll up his sleeves and put out something that really does prevent terrorists, rather than this.”
He scolded the president for “name-calling” and even went so far as to say “he doesn’t take this presidency seriously enough.”
