Attorney General Jeff Sessions once again addressed the firing of James Comey during this morning’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
In response to a question from Senator Dianne Feinstein, Sessions said, “I don’t think it has been fully understood the significance of the error that Mr. Comey made on the Clinton matter.”
He once again criticized the actions Comey took hours after this tweet from President Trump:
As it has turned out, James Comey lied and leaked and totally protected Hillary Clinton. He was the best thing that ever happened to her!
