Seth MacFarlane Predicts What Fox News Will Say About His New Movie

Between Family Guy, which is about to enter its 13th season and 2012’s Ted, which surpassed The Hangover as the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time, Seth MacFarlane should not have that much to worry about. But when his new film, A Million Ways to Die in the West, opens in theaters next Friday, he will be bracing for some inevitably terrible reviews from critics who just don’t like him.

In order to “head them off at the pass,” MacFarlane wrote his own bad review headlines for the film and presented them on The Tonight Show Friday. “These are headlines the critics cannot use when they tell us our movie is shit,” MacFarlane said before reading his list for Jimmy Fallon.

There were pun-filled headlines from the Los Angeles Times and Entertainment Weekly, but the highlight definitely came when MacFarlane predicted what Fox News will say: “A Million Ways to Die in the West is the most sexist, racist film in a decade. Two thumbs way up!”
