While he holds a commanding polling lead in New York state and other upcoming Republican contests, it has been a rough few weeks for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump when it comes to the maneuvers it takes to secure delegates in places like Colorado and North Dakota. While Trump has been railing against the (admittedly convoluted) rules governing the process, Late Night with Seth Meyers host Seth Meyers took it upon himself to take “A Closer Look” at Trump’s tale of woe, and found only a tiny violin playing for The Donald.
Meyers helpfully explained some of those convoluted rules (which would have been useful to Trump several weeks ago), hit on some of the absurd highlights of Trump’s delegate debacle, and most importantly, read a paragraph from a Mediaite article. Watch the clip above, from Late Night with Seth Meyers.
