I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey.”
There have also been rumors swirling around about co-host Jenny McCarthy leaving the show after her contract expires later this year.
Update- 10:43 p.m.: ABC said in a statement late today that they are taking The View in an “exciting new direction” and they “made decisions to evolve the show creatively.”
