SNL Cold Open Takes On Roy Moore’s Teen Sexual Abuse Allegations

Saturday Night Live cut right to the chase tonight by addressing the bombshell allegations of Roy Moore‘s teenage sexual abuse.

The show’s cold open showed the embattled Alabama senate candidate meeting with Vice President Mike Pence, and they talked about how control of the Senate is wrapped up quite a bit in Moore’s election. Moore insists the accusations against him are “all lies, I’m not that guy,” though Pence suggests it might be for the best if Moore stands down.

After Pence leaves Moore to think about his situation, he gets a surprise visit from the man he’s trying to succeed, former Alabama senator Jeff Sessions (played by Kate McKinnon). Unfortunately for Moore, even Sessions tells him to give it up and drop out of the senate race.

“This is really bad,” said Sessions. “I’m usually the creepiest one in the room but I look at you and I’m like oh my god.”
