SNL’s James Carville Takes On Rush Limbaugh And Newt Gingrich

This has been a banner night for Bill Hader’s media impressions. His James Carvillewas revived on “Weekend Update,” to allow him to comment on the recent controversy over Rush Limbaugh’s remarks on birth control. He also weighed in on the current presidential race, noting that while Mitt Romney looks presidential, “we don’t always get the job we look right for. If we did, I’d be king of the snakes!”

There was also a deeply disturbing discussion of a childhood game called “The Patchelor,” but since it’s difficult for Carville to stay on one subject for very long, it was abandoned. When Seth Meyers asked him his opinion on Newt Gingrich, he exclaimed “I thought I killed him 15 years ago!” He told Meyers that he thought this because he disguised himself as a woman in order to date Gingrich back in the 90s, which led to a description of Carville’s genitalia and made Hader and Meyers titter their way through the remainder of the sketch. My, it’s a giggly night for the cast! You can see the clip here via NBC:
