All of last week, Sean Hannity was mainstreaming conspiracy garbage about Hillary Clinton‘s health. He brought in medical experts with no direct knowledge of Clinton’s health situation to baselessly speculate on what could be happening with her. (The Washington Post has a good breakdown here of just how all-in he went on this nonsense.)
CNN’s Brian Stelter called out Hannity for his “reckless speculation” into Clinton’s health.
He pointed out that there have certainly been past concerns about Clinton’s health, but her doctors have said she’s in great condition.
Stelter said that “Hannity’s not interested in the truth about Clinton’s health,” and if he was, he would have talked to literally anyone with any firsthand knowledge. One of those people summarily debunked Hannity’s speculation about a Clinton seizure.
“Last time I checked,” Stelter concluded, “Fox still has the word ‘news’ in its name.”
